As a Corporate Banking Manager at our London City branch, you will join an elite team that operates on a unique decentralized model. This role is centered on managing a high-quality portfolio of property lending customers, local trading businesses, and non-borrowing clients. You will be the primary point of contact, taking full ownership of the credit lifecycle—from initial enquiry and financial risk analysis to the preparation of credit applications and ongoing covenant monitoring.

Your Strategic & Operational Impact

• Relationship Stewardship: Build and maintain deep, trusted relationships with a portfolio of business customers, ensuring gold-standard service and satisfaction.

• Business Development: Proactively identify and win new corporate clients and introducers (solicitors, accountants, trade associations) to drive sustainable growth.

• Credit Analysis: Interpret complex financial statements, evaluate lending propositions, and structure transactions in line with the Bank’s Credit Policy.

• Risk Management: Take the lead on annual credit reviews, management account monitoring, and strict adherence to KYC/AML and compliance protocols.

• Market Expertise: Develop and maintain a sophisticated understanding of the London City corporate and property market trends.
