Job Overview
We are seeking a talented and passionate Chef to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food preparation and cooking, with a commitment to delivering high-quality dishes in a fast-paced environment. The Chef will be responsible for preparing meals, maintaining food safety standards, and supporting the overall operation of the kitchen.
Duties
• Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to recipes and presentation standards
• Assist in menu planning and development, ensuring variety and quality
• Maintain cleanliness and organisation of workstations in compliance with food safety regulations
• Monitor ingredient stock levels and communicate needs for replenishment
• Ensure all food is prepared in a timely manner to meet service schedules
• Support the training of junior kitchen staff and ensure team collaboration
• Adhere to health and safety policies at all times, including proper handling of food and equipment
• Contribute to maintaining a positive and efficient working environment within the kitchen
Skills
• Proven experience in food preparation and cooking within a professional setting
• Strong knowledge of culinary techniques and meal presentation
• Familiarity with food safety standards and hygiene regulations
• Experience working in restaurants or similar hospitality environments is desirable
• Excellent organisational skills with the ability to multitask effectively under pressure
• Good communication skills to collaborate with team members and front-of-house staff
• Passion for culinary arts with an eye for detail and creativity in dish presentation

Pay: £12.21-£15.00 per hour
