The Conveyancing Market in 2026
The Manchester property market remains one of the UK’s most resilient. In 2026, the role of a Conveyancer is evolving:
-
Digital Transformation: The shift toward digital ID verification and electronic signatures is now industry standard, allowing solicitors to manage high volumes more efficiently than in previous years.
-
Material Information Rules: Following the long-term impact of Trading Standards’ requirements for “Material Information,” solicitors are now involved much earlier in the “upfront information” stage to reduce transaction fall-through rates.
-
Green Mortgages: An increasing number of Manchester transactions involve “Green Mortgages” and energy-efficiency certifications, requiring solicitors to be familiar with EPC-related lending criteria.
