The Scottish Borders Specialist Palliative Care Service is seeking a dedicated Consultant to join our permanent staff in Melrose. This role is a cornerstone of our commitment to excellence, centered on a values-driven approach to patient care and interdisciplinary collaboration within a stunning clinical environment.

Core Requirements and Skills

• 10 PA per week on a permanent basis.

• Clinical work within the Margaret Kerr Unit and the hospital outreach team.

• Providing advice and support for community patients at home and in community hospitals.

• Participate in an evolving education program across the hospital and work within a larger multi-disciplinary team.

• Legal requirement to demonstrate relevant permission to work in the UK.

• Appointment may be subject to joining the Protecting Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme.
