Consultant Clinical Oncologist (Gynae + Upper GI)
The Rosemere Cancer Centre at Lancashire Teaching Hospitals is seeking a dedicated Consultant Clinical Oncologist to lead and develop site-specialist services in Gynaecology and Upper GI. Serving a population of 1.8 million across Lancashire and South Cumbria, this permanent role offers a unique chance to work at the heart of a collaborative regional network. Core Requirements and Skills

Full GMC Registration and Licence to Practice.

MBBS or equivalent.

Specialist Register Entry: Must hold a CCT in Clinical Oncology (or be within 6 months of obtaining it at the time of interview).

Wide experience in Oncology practice, including both Radiotherapy and Chemotherapy.

Leadership: Evidence of clinical leadership and a trained Clinical Supervisor.

Audit & Research: Thorough understanding of medical audit with completed projects; interest in personal development through research/publications.

Communication: Proven ability to work effectively within a high-functioning multidisciplinary team (MDT).

Desirable: Stereotactic radiotherapy experience and higher research or educational degrees.
