Saracens High School is a thriving, values-driven secondary school in Colindale, serving a diverse community of 1,200 students. Since our opening in 2018, we have established an extremely successful Computer Science department with achievements across GCSE, A-Level, and T Level Digital. We are looking for a dynamic and very experienced Computer Science Lead Practitioner to join our pedagogy-focused leadership team. In this role, you will be instrumental in shaping the teaching and learning of digital skills at a school where progress scores are in the top 7% nationally. You will be part of a community that balances academic excellence with a focus on character development and “making memories.”

The Role & Responsibilities

• Pedagogical Leadership: Support the development of high-quality teaching and learning within the Computer Science team and across the wider school as part of the Lead Practitioner group.

• Curriculum Success: Drive attainment in a broad digital curriculum that includes GCSE, A-Level Computer Science, and the T Level Digital programme.

• Staff Development: Mentor and coach colleagues, helping to foster a culture of lifelong learning and professional growth.

• Values Integration: Model and instill the Saracens values of Discipline, Hard Work, Honesty, and Humility in all educational practices.

• University & Career Prep: Support students in achieving the exceptional results needed for university placement and degree apprenticeships (90% of our recent cohort achieved this).
