As a Delivery & Schemes Compliance Manager, you will tackle industry challenges head-on by protecting consumers, holding energy suppliers to account, and ensuring that essential energy schemes deliver genuine value for money. This role is a unique opportunity to contribute to a fairer energy market and a sustainable Net Zero future, all while working from a Glasgow-based hub that prioritizes a modern, flexible lifestyle.

About the Role

In this position, you will lead and contribute to high-stakes compliance investigations involving regulated companies and scheme participants. You won’t just be reviewing paperwork; you will be conducting robust analysis of both qualitative and quantitative evidence to uncover risks and drive accountability. Your work will involve project-managing significant workstreams, engaging with diverse stakeholders—including whistleblowers where necessary—and making evidence-based recommendations that directly influence energy policy and consumer protection.

What You’ll Bring

  • Regulatory Expertise: Experience delivering positive outcomes through work in regulation, compliance, risk, or policy.

  • Analytical Prowess: A proven ability to investigate and analyze complex data to reach sound, defensible conclusions.

  • Communication Skills: Excellence in explaining complex, technical issues to non-specialist audiences, both in writing and verbally.

  • Stakeholder Management: The ability to build effective relationships and influence challenging external parties.

  • Project Leadership: Strong planning and prioritization skills to deliver quality outputs in a fast-moving, high-pressure environment.

  • Commitment: A genuine interest in the energy sector and a drive to support Net Zero initiatives.

Why You’ll Love This Role

We offer an attractive hourly rate of £18–£19 per hour for a standard 37-hour work week (Monday–Friday). We champion a true hybrid working model, allowing you to work from home four days a week with just one day in our Glasgow City Centre office. Beyond the flexibility, you will be part of an inclusive environment that values diverse perspectives and provides a platform for you to develop new skills across a broad range of investigative and strategic activities.
