Your Strategic Responsibilities

• Framework Governance: Design, execute, and refine comprehensive compliance policies and procedures tailored to specialist lending.

• Regulatory Liaison: Act as the primary point of contact for the FCA and other regulatory bodies, managing inquiries and reporting with total transparency.

• Risk & Audit: Conduct rigorous internal audits and risk assessments to identify potential vulnerabilities, providing corrective solutions to senior leadership.

• Strategic Advisory: Provide “Head-of” level insights to the board regarding regulatory shifts and their potential impact on business growth.

• Leadership & Culture: Mentor and grow a dedicated compliance team, fostering a company-wide culture of integrity and continuous improvement.

• Incident Management: Lead investigations into potential breaches, ensuring swift escalation and resolution while mitigating future risks.

The Ideal Profile

• Experience: Proven track record in a compliance management or senior leadership role within the financial services sector (Brokerage or Specialist Lending experience is highly preferred).

• Knowledge: Deep expertise in FCA rules, AML obligations, and modern risk management best practices.
