Company Delivery Driver/warehouse

**Description**

To efficiently deliver company product to store and/or other company units on a daily basis. Company Delivery Driver is a key role for stores to ensure they stores are stocked and ready to trade. The role usually includes early starts and involves heavy lifting at pick-up and delivery.
• *The Role**
– To accurately count and record all products loaded on to the delivery vehicle to ensure drivers paperwork and quantity of units for each store delivery are verified.
– To drive with in the speed limits and in accordance to with varying traffic conditions to undertake the delivery of products to our multiple retail outlets and concessions
– To obtain a signature from each delivery point as proof of delivery and return the signed copy back to the warehouse daily.
– To ensure when parking the delivery vehicle is placed in a legally permitted area.
– To undertake the loading and unloading of product and the safe delivery of product to the stock room of each store delivery utilising where appropriate access walkways and lifts. The pro
– To report to the warehouse Manager all delays with making deliveries and or any expected delivery failures at the earliest opportunity using the phones located in our stores.
– To assist with the loading and unloading of your vehicle at the main warehouse.
– As a Company Delivery Driver you remain the face of our Business, there is an expectation that a driver should always be professional and courteous at all times. Smart casual attire should be worn.
– To remove all plastics, Hangers and Product returns from each delivery point for return and store responsibly at head office.
– To ensure that the delivery vehicle is maintained and all fluid levels are checked and topped up when required, all issues with the vehicle will need to be reported to the Warehouse Operations Manager.
– To ensure that the delivery vehicle remains fully fueled and all Diesel receipts are submitted to the Warehouse Manager Weekly.
– To ensure that vehicle tyres remain in good road worthy condition and changed when required.
– To report all defects as discovered directly to the Warehouse Manager.
– To ensure that good levels of cleanliness is maintained inside the vehicles cab.
– To ensure that your delivery vehicle, is washed weekly.
– To undertake any reasonable duties deemed appropriate due to the needs of our business.

Driving experience: 2 years

Driving license: Valid licence with no more than 3 points on licence.
