Job Overview
As a Community Delivery Driver, you will collect meals from our Coventry CV5 8HX pick up point and deliver them to service users across the local area. Working a few flexible hours on weekdays and weekends, you will provide reliable, friendly doorstep service while promoting independence, safety and wellbeing in the community.

Responsibilities
• Collect hot, cold and frozen meals from the CV5 8HX pick up point
• Deliver meals safely and on time to vulnerable people across Coventry
• Provide a friendly, supportive presence at each doorstep visit
• Follow delivery routes and schedules as agreed with the office team
• Maintain food safety and infection control standards at all times
• Report any concerns about clients to supervisors promptly
• Keep your vehicle clean, roadworthy and appropriately insured for business use

Requirements
• Valid driving licence
• Use of your own vehicle for work
• Business car insurance for community deliveries
• Availability on weekdays and some weekends
• Comfortable working a few flexible hours per day
• Passion for helping those in need and going the extra mile
• Friendly, positive and supportive attitude

Qualifications
• At least one year delivery driving experience preferred
• One year general driving experience preferred
• Good spoken and written English
• Reliable, punctual and professional on the road
• Right to work in the United Kingdom
