Clinical Tutor (Clinical Psychology)

NHS Education for Scotland (NES), in partnership with the University of Edinburgh, is offering a permanent, part-time opportunity for an experienced Clinical Psychologist to join our Clinical Practice Team. This role is essential for shaping the future of the profession by overseeing the delivery and quality assurance of clinical practice training for Doctorate in Clinical Psychology trainees. Core Requirements and Skills

  • Experienced clinical psychologist.

  • Registered with HCPC and eligible for chartership with the BPS.

  • Experience of supervising Clinical Psychology trainees in a clinical setting.

  • Experience of taking a lead role in initiatives.

  • Keen knowledge and interest in clinical practice education.

  • Highly effective communicator knowing how to make often complex information and language simple for diverse internal and external stakeholders.

  • Experienced in successfully initiating and facilitating partnership working and alliances across multiple stakeholders.

  • Expected to be working clinically by separate arrangement.

  • Demonstrate honesty, integrity, care and compassion when dealing with others.

  • Ability to work on own initiative, to organise and prioritise own workloads, to meet strict deadlines.

  • Eligibility and entitlement to work in the UK must be maintained throughout employment.
