Job overview

We are seeking to appoint class teachers and subject leads (depending upon experience) for September 2026 to support the Senior Leadership Team and Trust in the development of the whole school. (An earlier start may be possible)

The ideal candidate will be looking to further develop their teaching skills and professional talents in a warm, nurturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver broad, balanced, relevant, adapted, and challenging lessons.

• Deliver consistently high standard lessons.

• Mark, assess, and report on pupil progress.

• Ensure Teacher Standards 1-8 are showcased.

• Ensure children are progressively learning throughout the year.

• Assess, record, and report on pupil standards, progress, and development.

• Model school values and embody its vision and ethos.

• Encourage high standards of behaviour and effective learning.

• Contribute to whole school enrichment.

• Lead and manage other adults within the classroom.

• Develop subject knowledge, stay updated with national developments.

• Ensure effective curriculum coverage, continuity, progression, and challenge.

• Assist with monitoring and evaluation of subject delivery.

• Manage classroom and subject resources effectively.

• Lead acts of collective worship.

• Collaborate with staff to develop practice within school.

• Carry out other reasonable requests as required.

• Support school aims and policies.

• Maintain professionalism and confidentiality.

• Maintain robust safeguarding culture.
