About the Role
As a Home Claims Expert, you will be the primary point of contact for customers who have experienced a loss or damage to their home. Working in a fast-paced but supportive environment, you will manage inbound calls, assess the validity of claims, and guide customers through the next steps of their recovery. This is a hybrid role (37.5 hours per week) that balances the collaboration of our Glasgow office with the flexibility of working from home. You will be empowered to make decisions that put the customer first, ensuring a seamless journey from the initial notification of loss to final resolution.
Key Responsibilities

Customer Support: Handling inbound calls with empathy, providing clear advice and reassurance to customers in need.

Claims Management: Managing a portfolio of home insurance claims, ensuring they are processed accurately and within agreed timelines.

Assessment: Interpreting policy wording to determine coverage and explaining complex insurance terms in simple, accessible language.

Problem Solving: Liaising with loss adjusters and contractors to coordinate repairs and replacements.

Record Keeping: Maintaining precise digital logs of all customer interactions and claim developments.
