Children’s Group Volunteer

Triple C has been dedicated to serving local children and their families from the very beginning. We offer a variety of groups, activities, and events designed to make a real difference in our community. Our children’s groups are safe, welcoming spaces where children have fun, parents connect, and families receive both practical and pastoral support.

What Can You Do?
• With Children: Get creative with crafts, games, and activities.
• With Families: Support our family events and community days.
• Behind the Scenes: Help with organising, setting up, or keeping things running smoothly.

All our roles are reasonably active, but we have something for every level of ability.

Role Purpose:

As a Children’s Group Volunteer, you will play a vital role in supporting the delivery of our children’s activities and groups. You’ll help create a positive, inclusive environment where children can play, learn, and grow, while also supporting parents and carers.

Key Responsibilities:
• Assist in running children’s groups (such as our pre-school groups, after school club and holiday clubs), helping to set up activities and ensure sessions run smoothly.
• Engage with children through play, games, crafts, and storytelling, encouraging participation and building positive relationships.
• Support parents and carers by offering a listening ear, helping them feel welcome, and signposting to further support if needed.
• Help with refreshments and practical tasks such as tidying up and preparing resources.
• Work as part of a team with staff and other volunteers to ensure the safety and wellbeing of all children and families attending.
• Promote an inclusive, friendly atmosphere where everyone feels valued and respected.
