Applications are invited from suitably qualified & experienced candidates to join our team as Chef De Partie- Pastry Chef . The key duties & responsibilities of this position include,
• Specialized in preparing celebration cakes .
• Creating pastries, baked goods, and confectionaries by following a standard recipe.
• Developing new recipes in coordination with the Executive Chef/Sous Chef.
• Decorating pastries and desserts to ensure a tasteful and attractive presentation.
• Make sure that all food leaving from the kitchen is from the highest Quality and up to the required standard.
• Prepare requisition for all items required based on stock and business. Check the items upon arrival and inform about the quality to Executive Chef/Sous Chef. Check daily function and prepare food accordingly and effectively.
• Endeavor the best to maintain employee’s productivity, provide continuous training & development to the employees.
• Motivate employees, listen to their concerns & handle all types of grievances as per the procedures of the company & if required with the assistance of the HOD or HR department.
• Ensures familiarity and knowledge of raw materials and supplies, its care, proper storage and usage procedure
• Ensure familiarity and knowledge of style and method of baking and what to use as raw materials, and strictly conforms to standard recipes & menus as approved.
• Proficient with local rules and regulations involving health and safety & HACCP
• Have strong organizational and time management skills with a high degree of flexibility.
• Excellent team management, communication, and listening skills
• Degree / Diploma in Culinary
• 2-3 year experience in the similar position or related professional area
• Ability to work independently as a member of a team with minimal supervision available to join immediately preferably located in UAE on Visit or Cancelled Visa
