Electrical Engineer Role Overview

Equans is recruiting an Electrical Engineer to join our team in Birmingham. The role involves carrying out repairs and maintenance on central heating systems across social housing.

The ideal candidate will have relevant qualifications, experience, and a full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities:
• Carry out all types of repairs and maintenance work in a multi-skilled environment.
• Complete repairs and maintenance in other trade disciplines where deemed competent.
• Attend appointments on time and complete works on the first occasion, in one visit, within target times.
• Diagnose necessary remedial works, make appointments/arrangements, and organise materials required.
• Arrange removal of waste/debris on a daily basis and upon completion of any works.
• Assist the team to achieve KPIs proactively and effectively.
• Participate in the Company’s out of hours emergency repairs and maintenance rota where appropriate.
• Mentor and assist trainees, apprentices, and other employees as needed.

Requirements:
• City and Guilds (Electrical) or equivalent experience.
• City and Guilds (Electrical) Inspection and Test or Equivalent Experience.
• Relevant Electrical qualification for repair, installation, and maintenance of electrical systems.
• Full UK Driving Licence.
