OPENING – Residential Service Attendant

We are presently seeking a Housekeeping Porter to integrate into the cleaning staff at the Sheraton Grand Hotel & Spa.

As a premier 5-star destination in Scotland, the Sheraton Grand Hotel & Spa stands as Edinburgh’s most expansive luxury venue. Our facility features the city’s premier conference and event spaces, accommodating up to 500 attendees, alongside our signature One Square bar and eatery.

Role:

Function as a vital link between cleaning operations, visitors, and various hotel sectors to guarantee an excellent stay within guest quarters and communal zones. This role maintains an active presence on guest floors to recognize, comprehend, and fulfill the requirements of housekeeping staff. The individual manages on-site guest petitions and supports the Executive Housekeeper in overseeing the daily functions of the department.

Primary Responsibilities:

Guarantee that all assigned sectors are kept at peak levels of hygiene and orderliness.
Gather and return visitor laundry items with speed and precision.
Manage the distribution, retrieval, and assembly of infant cribs to specific quality benchmarks.
Oversee the upkeep and quality of pressing equipment and ironing surfaces.
Distribute bedding supplies, including duvets and pillows, while restocking service cupboards as needed.
Maintain the cleanliness and presentation of service corridors and elevators, clearing away waste, used dishes, and glassware.
Provide guidance and training to incoming porters when necessary.
Respond to mobile alerts and address all incoming tasks or general cleaning questions.
