We have an exciting opportunity to recruit a number of Casual, Assistant Aviary Rangers to work with the team at East Park Animal Education Centre and across Hull’s Aviaries.

Duties will include welcoming visitors, assisting with educational events and working with the Aviary Ranger team to provide the daily care for care for our wide range of domestic and exotic animals, ensuring our high standards of animal husbandry and welfare are maintained.

You will be expected to help manage our visitors as required and assist with basic grounds and building maintenance tasks. This is a physically demanding role and mainly outdoors so the ability to work in all weathers is essential!

Whilst experience is not essential a passion for conservation and working with animals is.

The post is a casual position, with hours as and when required, starting as soon as possible.

This post will require regular weekend and bank holiday working.
