As the Cash and Banking Team Lead, you will own the pulse of our financial operations for the Fuel division. You’ll be responsible for managing c. £200 million in weekly gross cash flows, ensuring that our liquidity is optimized as we scale. This isn’t just a “business as usual” role—you will be a catalyst for change, leading a team to excellence while refining the models that forecast our future. Your Strategic & Operational Impact

• Cashflow Mastery: Full ownership of the Fuel divisional cashflow forecast (c. £200m/week), ensuring pinpoint accuracy and deep understanding of gross flows.

• Predictive Modeling: Build and maintain sophisticated short-term and long-term forecasting models, providing critical variance analysis of actuals vs. forecasts.

• Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team responsible for daily bank reconciliations across the global group.

• Treasury Collaboration: Partner closely with the Group Treasury Team to optimize the company’s cash positions and liquidity strategy.

• Continuous Improvement: Proactively challenge existing reporting and controls, implementing new efficiencies to support our rapid international expansion.

• Subject Matter Expertise: Act as the “go-to” expert for cash and banking queries, training the wider finance team on best-in-class forecasting practices.

Required Skills & Experience

• Experience: Minimum of 3 years in a finance or operations-related role, ideally within a fast-paced corporate environment.

• Technical Power: Advanced Excel and Access skills are essential; you must be comfortable handling large, complex data sets and building predictive models.

• Leadership: Prior experience in leading and developing a team is highly desirable.

• Communication: Ability to produce “Board-level” reporting and analysis that translates complex data into strategic insight.

• Attributes: An autonomous, enthusiastic self-starter who thrives under pressure and takes full responsibility for their duties.
