Cera Care
Job Description
Join Cera as a Care Assistant in Morley and surrounding Leeds areas, supporting our mission to transform social care and help people live longer, healthier, happier lives in their own homes. If you are kind, people‑focused and love making a difference, this could be the perfect role for you.
We welcome people with and without previous care experience. Whether you have worked in care before, supported a loved one, or simply enjoy helping others, we’ll provide full training so you can deliver safe, compassionate care. We’re recruiting both part‑time and full‑time Care Assistants across Leeds, Beeston, Batley, Osmondthorpe, Morley, Pudsey, Thurnscoe and nearby communities.
Shifts are flexible, including mornings, days, evenings and nights, with a typical pattern that gives you every other weekend off to support work‑life balance. You’ll earn £12 per hour while visiting clients at home, helping them remain independent, comfortable and connected to their local community.
Your day‑to‑day responsibilities may include assisting with personal care (such as washing, dressing and continence support), preparing hot meals, supporting with medications and carrying out light household tasks. Just as importantly, you’ll offer companionship, reassurance and emotional support—bringing conversation, comfort and joy into clients’ daily routines.
Cera supports you with strong employment benefits: enhanced bank holiday pay, holiday pay and a pension scheme, free DBS/PVG check, a company mobile phone and uniform, plus paid mileage between visits. You’ll also access our BHN Extras platform and Blue Light Card eligibility, giving thousands of discounts on shopping, food, entertainment and family activities.
We provide enhanced maternity (12 weeks full pay), paternity and parental leave, along with wellbeing support through an Employee Assistance Programme, mental health first aiders, a healthcare cash plan, free eye tests and contributions towards glasses. You can also earn extra through our Care Friends referral scheme, receiving £500 per successful referral.
We offer an industry‑leading career pathway with funded training including the Care Certificate and NVQ qualifications. Around half of our salaried roles are filled internally, so there are real opportunities to progress into more senior or specialist positions. Cera Tech also streamlines admin tasks, using predictive technology and risk alerts to help you focus on what matters most—caring.
If you want a truly rewarding role where your presence brings safety, companionship and a sense of security to those you visit, we’d love you to apply. Please note that this role is subject to an enhanced DBS check and you must have the legal right to work in the UK. Cera is an equal‑opportunity employer, committed to diversity and inclusion.
