Job Description

Business Support Officer – Quality Assurance

Salary: Grade 6, SCPs 6 – 11 – £25,989 – £28,142
Contract: Permanent, 37 hours per week
Location: Bradford

About the Role
Within this role, you will provide essential support to the Quality Assurance Team in driving practice improvement across Bradford Children and Families Trust. This includes administrative support as well as gathering and extrapolating data to inform service reports for senior managers. The Trust fosters a reliable and supportive environment for both staff and children, rooted in restorative and relational practice.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Play a key role in the quality assurance cycle of the Trust

  • Provide business support to the Quality Assurance Team

  • Maintain confidentiality and sensitivity with data handled

  • Develop and implement data quality checks, procedures, and enhancements

  • Minute taking, booking, and organising meetings for the team

  • Ensure records are updated and information management is effective

  • Create, update, and manage spreadsheets and track data

Requirements:

  • Knowledge of Children’s Services functions and one or more areas such as practice facing, inspection preparation, practice improvement, performance management, quality assurance, change management, or project management

  • Experience in a large multi-functional public sector or similar organisation in business support/data analytics

  • Proficiency with MS Office products, Power BI, Word, Excel, and other IT systems

  • GCSE Maths and English (Grades A-C) or equivalent assessment

  • Level 4 NVQ desirable but not essential
