Key Care & Support is looking for a dedicated Business Development Manager to spearhead our temporary staffing growth across North Wales and the North West. This part-time role (school hours plus on-call) offers a pro-rata salary of 40k. You’ll be joining a team known for excellence in the social care sector, focusing on expanding our footprint in supported living and care services. We need a proactive leader who can merge high-level marketing strategy with hands-on community engagement to keep our brand at the forefront of the industry.


Qualifications and experience required:

  • Proven track record in successfully completing and winning tenders and framework agreement inclusion, developing, maintaining and leveraging strong relationships within a local community to achieve business objectives using a variety of tools and techniques.

  • Good understanding of the social care market, including principles with experience of using a range of marketing and communication approaches including managing digital and social media platforms/campaigns.

  • Experience of building relationships both face to face and virtually.

  • Experience of leading and motivating a team to achieve targets.

  • Good working knowledge of IT systems with experience of Microsoft Office or Google Suite and virtual communication platforms with the ability to learn and adopt new technologies where appropriate.

  • Experience of using data and analytics to make informed business choices.

  • Effective interpersonal skills with excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to deliver effective and engaging presentations or workshops to a broad-based audience.

  • Strong organisational and prioritisation skills.

  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently, use initiative and be resilient.

  • Ability to work flexibly to meet the needs of the business.
