Position: Broker Assistant (London)

Objectives of the Role

The successful candidate will integrate into the Broking Team to provide essential operational support. The primary goal is to facilitate the placement of both new and renewal contracts while optimizing the performance of our Lloyd’s business portfolio.

Core Responsibilities

  • Partner with the Broking Department to draft and organize technical materials for presentation to Clients and Underwriters.

  • Assist the broader team in the cultivation and maintenance of active commercial relationships.

  • Support the binding authority placement cycle by managing market sheets, broking checklists, business plans, and TCF documentation.

  • Oversee the resolution of temporary table transactions to ensure data integrity.

  • Generate and present detailed statistical data and analytical reports regarding Lloyd’s contract results for distribution to Underwriters.

  • Collaborate with the IT division to refine MRS-NA data reporting and analytical tools.

  • Coordinate with cross-functional departments to address and resolve operational inquiries.

  • Provide general administrative and technical aid to ensure the Broking team hits departmental targets.

  • Maintain strict adherence to all internal MRS-NA compliance policies and operational protocols.
