Job Summary: BI Developer

Henley Morgan has partnered with a global technology-driven organization to find an experienced BI Developer to lead their expanding Applications and Data function. This is a rare opportunity for a professional who craves true end-to-end ownership of business intelligence solutions, from initial stakeholder engagement to the delivery of trusted insights. Based in a hybrid capacity with three days on-site in West Sussex, you will be a key player in a mid-sized team, driving data-driven decision-making across Finance, Sales, and Operations during a pivotal phase of digital transformation.

Requirements and Skills

Experience with SAP Business One or other ERP platforms.
Strong Power BI development skills, including semantic modelling and DAX.
Proven SQL development and optimisation experience.
Hands-on use of Power Query and dataflows.
Confidence owning BI delivery end-to-end within a mid-sized organisation.
Background in manufacturing or technology environments (Desirable).
Exposure to SAP HANA (Desirable).
Experience using Jira or Confluence (Desirable).
Knowledge of data governance or KPI frameworks (Desirable).

Role Overview

As a BI Developer, you will be the architect of the organization’s reporting landscape, responsible for designing and delivering Power BI dashboards and complex datasets from the ground up. You will act as a bridge between technical infrastructure and business needs, working directly with users to gather requirements and translating them into high-performance SQL-based views and transformations. Your role extends beyond development; you will manage the entire semantic layer, ensure data integrity across multiple source systems, and actively support the wider business in adopting these tools to uncover impactful, actionable insights.
