Role Overview

• Part-time Barista for Costa, contracted to approximately 8 hours per week.

• Responsible for crafting beverages, serving food, and maintaining a clean and efficient workspace.

Responsibilities

• Prepare blended drinks and serve food to high standards.

• Keep bar area clean and maintain stock of clean mugs and plates.

• Operate brewing equipment and report maintenance issues.

• Receive and process payments (cash and card).

• Comply with food handling, hygiene, and health & safety regulations.

• Represent Costa positively and maintain brand image.

• Learn beverage blends, brewing methods, and presentation techniques.

Skills and Qualifications

• Excellent communication and customer service skills.

• Ability to work under pressure and take initiative.

• Hands-on experience with brewing equipment preferred.

• Strong timekeeping, reliability, and team-player attitude.

• Prior customer service experience is desirable.
