Dals is looking for a proactive and curious Associate Product Owner to join our team in Stretford. At Dals, we believe the world is a fairer place when everyone is understood; we provide interpreting and translation services across 500+ languages to solve critical communication challenges. In this role, you will be the bridge between customer problems and technical solutions, supporting the full product lifecycle from discovery to delivery. With a salary of £35,000 – £40,000, this is an ideal opportunity for someone with project or change management experience who is looking to deepen their expertise in digital product ownership within a supportive, inclusive, and socially-minded organization.

Main Duties & Responsibilities

  • Product Delivery: Assist the Product Owner in translating customer pain points into actionable user stories and acceptance criteria. You’ll help manage the backlog and ensure engineering squads have a clear path for delivery.

  • Stakeholder Management: Build and maintain relationships across design, engineering, and business teams to ensure everyone is aligned on product outcomes.

  • Analysis & Insight: Use data and competitor research to validate problems and measure how new features are performing.

  • Discovery Work: Participate in customer research and requirement gathering to ensure we are building the right things for our users.

About You

Essential:

  • Proven experience in project or change management.

  • A strong understanding of technology and how digital products are built.

  • Analytical mindset—you should be comfortable using data to guide your decisions.

  • Excellent communication skills with experience managing various stakeholders.

  • Ability to prioritize a busy workload in a fast-paced environment.

Desirable:

  • Familiarity with Agile frameworks and tools like Jira, Azure DevOps, or Trello.

  • An understanding of UX principles and the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC).

  • Previous experience in a business analysis or project coordination role within a tech team.
