Associate Delivery Manager

NHS Education for Scotland (NES) is looking for an Associate Delivery Manager to join our Technology Service on a fixed-term basis. This is a remote-friendly, flexible role within a dynamic team dedicated to building Scotland’s National Digital Platform. It is an ideal path for someone passionate about using Agile methodologies to deliver software that directly improves health and social care outcomes across the country.


Core Requirements and Skills

  • Proven experience in working in a multi-disciplinary environment.

  • Ability to solve issues and unblock problems, helping to drive the team forward and making sure the team are working towards delivery commitments.

  • Effective communicator, knowing how to adapt your communication skills to a diverse audience (e.g. senior, internal and external stakeholders). Both verbally and in writing.

  • Ability to work autonomously, and use own initiative, to organise and prioritise own workload and those of others, to meet strict deadlines.

  • Ability to actively address and communicate internal team risks and issues, escalating where appropriate.

  • Demonstrate honesty, integrity, care and compassion when dealing with others, utilising tact and persuasion skills when necessary.

  • Ability to work on own initiative, to organise and prioritise own workloads, to meet strict deadlines.

  • Eligibility and entitlement to work in the UK which is required to be maintained throughout your period of employment.
