As we expand our product portfolio and enter new markets, we are looking for a dedicated Area Engineer to manage and grow our presence across the Midlands. You will act as a critical technical bridge between our innovative solutions and a diverse client base, including civil engineering contractors, housing developers, and water authorities.

The Candidate

• Experienced Technical Sales Engineer or a Qualified Civil or Geotechnical Engineer looking for a more commercial role.

• Ideally you will have experience of securing specifications within the Civil Engineering sector in the UK.

• Technically minded, able to talk to engineers about specific projects and design a solution for them.

• Ideally you will have a degree or HND in Civil Engineering/Geotechnical or a construction related discipline.

• Strong technical background, with the ability to assimilate technical information and as well as being able to confidently supply technical information.

In this role, you will take ownership of the Midlands territory, moving beyond traditional sales to provide high-level technical consultancy. Your day-to-day impact involves identifying project-specific challenges for our clients and designing tailored geotechnical and civil solutions that utilize our industry-leading products. Whether you are coming from a pure engineering background or technical sales, you will be expected to “own” the specification process—engaging with engineers and decision-makers to ensure our products are integrated into major infrastructure and development projects. Core Technical Focus Areas

Your work will involve the application and specification of various geotechnical systems:

• Soil Stabilization: Implementing solutions like geogrids and geotextiles to enhance load-bearing capacity.

• Earth Retention: Designing systems for slope stability and reinforced earth structures.

• Water Management: Working with authorities to integrate sustainable drainage and containment solutions.
