Depot Administrator
Hours: Monday-Friday, 8:00am – 4:30pm (40 hours per week)

About the Role We are recruiting on behalf of a leading material handling company in Hull for a professional and organised Depot Administrator. This role is key to ensuring the smooth running of the depot, providing an efficient reception function, supporting the service department, and delivering a high standard of administration across the business.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys a varied role, working with customers, engineers, and internal teams in a busy depot environment.
Provide an efficient and courteous telephonist/reception service
Deliver full administration support to the depot and service departments
Complete daily administrative tasks accurately, efficiently, and within set timescaleService & Depot Administration
Provide full admin support to the service and hire departments
Produce service-related correspondence, ensuring non-urgent work is completed by the next day and urgent work meets required deadlines
Assist with marketing and archiving tasks for the service and hire departments
Handle general office tasks including filing, typing letters, memos, and other documents
Process incoming mail by 10am each day and notify staff of post awaiting collection
Flexible, conscientious, and a strong team player
PC literate with good working knowledge of Word and Excel
40 hours per week (Monday–Friday, 8:00am – 4:30pm)
