Drive creative branded merchandise campaigns for leading brands as an Account Manager – Promotional Merchandise with Stonor Recruitment’s London-based client. You’ll manage key client relationships, oversee end-to-end project delivery and bring marketing concepts to life through impactful, on-brief promotional products.

Role Overview

Working within a specialist promotional merchandise agency, you’ll act as the main point of contact for a portfolio of clients across sectors such as FMCG, corporate, events and charity. You’ll take briefs, source and cost products, manage suppliers (often overseas), and coordinate production and delivery to tight deadlines.

You’ll collaborate closely with internal design, purchasing and logistics teams, ensuring every project meets brand guidelines, quality standards, budgets and sustainability requirements. This role suits a commercially minded account handler who thrives in a fast-paced, creative environment and enjoys building long-term client partnerships.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage day-to-day relationships with key clients, acting as their trusted promotional merchandise partner
  • Take detailed briefs, challenge and clarify objectives and propose creative product solutions and campaign concepts
  • Source, quote and negotiate with suppliers (UK and overseas), ensuring competitive pricing and quality standards
  • Prepare accurate costings, proposals and presentations for client approval
  • Oversee the full project lifecycle from concept and sampling through to production, quality checks and delivery
  • Work closely with design teams to ensure artwork and branding are correctly applied and compliant with guidelines
  • Monitor timelines, budgets and stock levels, proactively resolving issues and communicating clearly with stakeholders
  • Ensure all products meet relevant compliance, safety and sustainability requirements
  • Identify opportunities to grow accounts through upselling, cross-selling and proactive campaign ideas
  • Maintain accurate records in the CRM/ERP system, including job status, margins and client communications

Skills and Experience

  • Proven experience in account management within promotional merchandise, print, marketing services or related fields
  • Strong understanding of branded merchandise production processes, materials and lead times
  • Confident client handler with excellent communication and relationship-building skills
  • Commercially astute, comfortable working with margins, costings and supplier negotiations
  • Highly organised, able to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines
  • Strong attention to detail across artwork, specifications and data entry
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office (especially Excel, PowerPoint) and comfortable using CRM/order management systems
  • Creative mindset with a keen eye for branding, design and product trends
  • Collaborative team player with a proactive, solutions-focused approach
