The Role
We are recruiting to the role of Academic Education Development Administrator to join our collegiate and team. This is an exciting time to join the team as we play a key role in supporting the University to deliver on its ambitious strategy over the next 5 years.
Key responsibilities will include:
• Supporting the Learning and Teaching Enhancement Unit (LTEU) in delivering its range of activities and initiatives to enhance the quality of learning and teaching across the university.
• Administering and coordinating all LTEU programmes, including Recognition for New Academics (R4NA), Introduction to Learning and Teaching in HE (ILTHE), and University of Roehampton Reflective Account of Practice (URRAP).
• Providing front-line support to staff and research students, handling queries and offering advice or escalating as needed.
• Maintaining accurate training records on the MHR iTrent Learning Management System and supporting the organisation of meetings and events.
The successful candidate will have skills and experience in:
• General administration within Higher Education.
• Proficiency in MS Windows-based packages (Word, Excel, databases) and tools such as Canva.
• Previous administrative experience, supporting event organisation and delivery.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to liaise with a range of stakeholders and maintain confidentiality.
