About the Role
In this customer-facing operational role, you will be responsible for the end-to-end management of criminal digital files and the progression of serious criminal cases. You will be the primary point of contact for criminal justice agencies, solicitors, barristers, and the public, handling enquiries via telephone, email, and face-to-face interactions. Your duties will range from managing juror logistics to ensuring that all documentation is prepared for hearings. You will work within a team to carry out general administrative tasks, ensuring that justice is delivered efficiently and accurately.
Key Responsibilities

Case Management: Managing criminal digital files and ensuring all correspondence is processed in preparation for court hearings.

Public Enquiries: Acting as a professional liaison for solicitors, barristers, and justice agencies through multiple communication channels.

Juror Management: Handling the practical and administrative aspects of juror attendance and service.

Progressing Justice: Carrying out administrative duties to ensure cases move through the tribunal system without delay.

Inter-site Support: Providing occasional cover for administrative functions at the Amersham court location as required.
Your Skills and Experience

Salary & Pension: Competitive pay with a choice of high-quality Civil Service pension schemes.

Annual Leave: 25 days starting, increasing to 30 days after five years, plus public holidays and 1 privilege day.

Flexible Patterns: 37 hours per week (Full Time), but part-time and job shares are welcomed. Note: Successful candidates must include Monday in their working pattern.
