Industrial placement students may be able to return as full-time team members on our Graduate Programme upon completing their studies, depending on performance and business requirements.
The Quantitative Research Placement
Our trading analysts work directly with our traders to evaluate fundamental global market supply and demand using mathematical and programming techniques. They work closely with traders, shipping, and IT, developing tools in order to deliver value to the business.
Forecasting market trends and strategic global thinking are important skills in this role – a good analyst will proactively form an independent view of the market and present clear and concise data to support this opinion. Working alongside the team, the data-driven insights you develop will be used to add value and inspire commercial strategy within the trading teams.
Key requirements:

A keen interest in the Finance, Energy, or Oil industries.
