Class 1 Tramping

Class 1 Trampers Required Urgently Bridgend, Cardiff, Newport

Pure Staff are currently looking for both day and night HGV C+E Class 1 trampers for our exclusive clients.

Pay rates (PAYE)

Days £16 – £17 Monday to Friday

Nights £17 – £18 Monday to Friday

Weekends available for certain contracts £20-£22ph

Pure Staff do NOT work with Umbrella or LTD company contractors

You will receive in addition to the pay rate holiday pay & auto enrolment pension after 3 months.

We work with some of the most well-known and respected haulage companies in the local area, offering work ranging from simple trunking & trailer swaps to more difficult multi drop general haulage or class 1 tramping

Shifts can be between 10 to 12 hours per class 1 tramping day.

All clients are vetted with regards to policy and health and safety prior to working, our clients tend to run mixed fleets including Merc, Scania, MAN & Volvo trucks manual and automatic.

Our Clients are looking for a candidate that can not only drive an HGV C+E Class 1 Articulated lorry successfully but that can communicate well to ensure that all deliveries / collections / trailer swaps are completed.

There will be stop call wait procedure with all clients to maximise on productivity and keep drivers informed on possible delays or route changes.

To become a Pure Staff flexible employee, you will need

HGV C+E Driving licence

6 months HGV C+E Class 1 experience is preferred but not essential (new passes will be accepted for certain roles)

CPC Card

Digital card

Clean Licence preferred with no more than 6 points (no TT TS MS DR DD CD CU IN) codes

Pure Staff prides itself on delivering a first-class service and as a direct result we offer a refer an HGV C+E Class 1 or HGV C Class 2 driver and after they have worked for us for a month receive £100 for you and £50 for them!

T&C’s apply but that is paid after roughly 200 hours (about 4 weeks) of work.
