There is a high demand of HGV Drivers needed around the UK with the escalating issue of Covid-19. YOUR ROLE
You will be working for some of UKs biggest logistic companies based in East Yorkshire with long- and short-term contracts available with opportunities for long term guaranteed assignments.
G&J Staffing are looking for experienced Class 2 Drivers to cover a variety of shift patterns.
MONDAY – FRIDAY (Start times can vary between 04:00 – 11:00)
1-2 Days a week
2-5 Days a week
Occasional Weekend work
We are looking for multiple Class 2 Drivers that have range of experience in Multidrop, pallet networks, skips, RoRo, Waste, Tippers etc
As a Class 2 Driver you will be responsible for the safe and secure collection and delivery in accordance with Company/Client requirements.
ABOUT YOU
We are looking for experienced Drivers that are reliable, client focused and enthusiastic.
You will be representing both the clients and our agency on a regular basis.
A good understanding of written and verbal English is a must.

Digi Card
CPC Card
No more than 6 Penalty points on Licence
Minimum of 2 years driving experience
A good understanding of EU Drivers Hours & the WTD

CONTRACT HAULAGE WORK AVAILABLE ALL YEAR ROUND FOR OWNER-DRIVERS AND FLEET OWNERS WITH RIGID OR ARTICULATED VEHICLES.

To get started and apply for an Operator’s Licence, you need to have £8,000 which is a requirement of the UK and EU transport regulations (you won’t spend it).
