We’re on the lookout for an enthusiastic and dependable Receptionist to become part of our Network Team, providing front-of-house support across various client locations in Manchester and Leeds. This dynamic, mobile role ensures our sites are always covered during periods of holiday, sickness, training, or short-term vacancies. It’s a brilliant fit for someone who thrives on variety and enjoys working in different professional settings.
You’ll be a key point of contact across multiple environments, so adaptability and flexibility are essential. The role involves travel between Manchester and Leeds, occasionally at short notice, but don’t worry, any cross-city travel costs will be reimbursed.
We’re looking for someone who brings initiative, confidence, and a genuine passion for great service. Every placement will offer the chance to meet new people, experience different workplaces, and develop your skills further. Full training will be provided before you start at any site.
As part of a close-knit and supportive team, you’ll help us deliver a seamless front-of-house experience, combining professionalism with a positive, can-do attitude.
Type of contract: Full-time, 4-month Fixed Term Contract
Hours: 40 per week (Monday-Friday; shift rota basis between 7 AM to 9 PM)
Salary: £29,800 pro rata
Ideally the successful candidate will be located in the Manchester area.
Main responsibilities
• Covering all roles across the business (receptionist, switchboard, concierge, floor coordinator, lobby host, helpdesk).
• Proactively dealing with guest requests in an efficient, friendly and timely manner, ensuring all business requirements are dealt with promptly and professionally.
• Handling all external and internal calls in a professional manner.
• Communicating effectively with other departments and service providers, creating a ‘one team’ approach to delighting our guests.
• Adopting a flexible and adaptable approach at all times when dealing with ad hoc duties as required.
• Adopting a flexible and adaptable approach to the rota with potential shift/location changes.
The ideal candidate will

• Be willing to travel between Leeds and Manchester
• Have at least one year of customer-facing experience in a fast-paced environment, such as five-star hotels, corporate settings, or luxury establishments

• Communicate effectively and adapt their working style to various environments
• Exhibit strong interpersonal skills and a positive, proactive attitude under pressure
