Job description

We are currently recruiting on behalf of our clients based in Cambridge who are recruiting for a Part-Time Payroll Manager on a full-time permanent basis. To be successful, you will have experience in a similar role

Typical duties include:

• Overseeing end-to-end payroll operations for the organisation

• Providing guidance to internal teams on payroll policies and procedures

• Supporting audits and ensuring accurate payroll reporting for finance and HR teams

• Identifying opportunities to streamline and improve payroll processes

• Developing and maintaining payroll procedures and controls to ensure accuracy and compliance

• Preparing and reviewing payroll-related reports for senior management

• Monitoring changes in payroll legislation and implementing required updates

• Collaborating with HR and Finance to ensure alignment between payroll, benefits, and employee data

• Training and mentoring payroll staff to support their professional development

• Any other ad-hoc duties where required

You will have:

• CIPP Qualification preferred

• Experience overseeing day-to-day payroll processes

• Ability to manage your own workload effectively

• Excellent communication, both written and verbal
